Executive Summary Q3 2024

The latest AA/WARC survey data shows that UK ad spend increased 9.7% during Q3 2024, to a total of £10.6bn. When viewed at a category level, Nielsen data shows that only two major sectors increased display spend during Q3 2024. Online formats once again recorded robust growth in the third quarter with online display up 15.2% (inclusive of social media on 17.8%) and search up 12.6%, while legacy media posted mixed results.
